Black Pine Revival

As a collection of musicians based out of Northern California and Nashville Tennessee, Black Pine Revival are performing and recording artists showcasing original blues, roots rock’n’roll, and hints of alt-country.

Loki Miller Band

Recipient of the 2017 CAMMIE Award for ‘Best Guitarist’; The Loki Miller Band is an All-Star Power Trio based in Northern California. Loki has played hundreds of shows with a variety of groups ranging from Power Trios to Broadway Musical Productions and everything in between. He prides himself on his versatility, being able to organically slip in and out of several styles while always maintaining a high level of virtuosity, authenticity and raw power. Backed by veteran bassist Mike “Snake” Howe and Sparky Berg on the skins, this is a trio that will wow you with their musicality and take you back to an era where the music you play is just as important as what you sing.

Heirloom Quartet

Heirloom is a group of four young musicians who are passionate about making music that transcends genres. From oldies and Jazz to Country and Rock, they do it all – and even add their own twist to beloved tunes that have been around for decades. Along with popular covers, Heirloom also integrates their original songs into shows that lures the audience onto the dance floor and leaves them wanting more!

    Benefiting Blue Oak Charter School in Chico, CA

    Blue Oak Charter School’s 2nd annual music festival, Oaken Lands, coordinated by the Parent Council, will be held on April 26, 2025 at the Women’s Club. The Oaken Lands fundraiser will be an inspiring event of great live musical entertainment, food, drinks, and friends. With your help, we will be able to provide vital funds to ensure access for our annual middle school field trips, specifically the 7th grade three day, two night trip to the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon. This event provides real world context and applications for the specific curriculum in Grade 7 beyond the classroom walls.  This year, we aim to raise a total of $15,000 to cover the cost of each student attending this multi-day field trip to Ashland. We’d be honored to recognize you in our efforts to support this amazing program.    

    Imagine a generation of children who love learning. Children who are self-possessed and confident in their abilities, socially and environmentally responsible, inclusive and compassionate, and exuding creativity and problem-solving skills. That is the motivation behind everything we do at Blue Oak Charter School, Chico’s Waldorf-inspired public Kindergarten-8th Grade. We have been receiving children with reverence and educating them with love for the past 20 years. We believe all students deserve access to the education we offer, including the enriching field trips that begin in Grade 3. That is why we count on the generosity of our community and those who believe that a holistic, empowering education is not only possible but necessary for our times.
